Loboc Tourism Complex - municipal employees, national and local leaders were gathered last September 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM, for the Ribbon-Cutting and Blessing of the newly reconstructed Loboc Tourism Docking Port, which was damaged by the horrifying earthquake last October 15, 2013, to be able to cater the twenty (20) Loboc River floating restaurants.

This Php 20,000,000.00 project was funded by Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) headed by Tourism Chief Operations Officer Mark Tadeo Lapid, through the efforts of Hon. Guiller B. Asido, Assistant Chief Operations Officer of TIEZA and Town Mayor Engr. Helen C. Alaba herself.

Accompanied by Municipal Mayor, Vice Mayor, SB Members, MLGOO, and the ever supportive Ex-Mayor Leon A. Calipusan, upon arrival of the special guests from TIEZA, provincial governor and provincial heads, the LGU head of offices with municipal employees, punong barangays, barangay officials, boat operators and crew welcomed them by waving flaglets along the path where guests paved their way to the new docking port

As honored guests arrived at the area, they immediately proceeded to the blessing by Rev. Fr. Elpidio Udtuhan, Parish Vicar of Loboc. Afterwhich, the short program takes place immediately highlighting the cutting of ribbon and ceremonial turnover from TIEZA to Municipal Government. Honorable Mayor then delivered her acceptance message afterwards. As the ceremony was completed, honored guests were guided to a delightful lunch at the floating restaurant.
